Our Mission Statement:
To provide peer-owned and operated services; to provide a unified voice for behavioral health consumers of Maricopa County and to work to change or enhance a service delivery system which meets the needs and desires of the people we are charged to serve.

Organizational Values

  • Honesty: We believe in honesty in words and actions. Honesty allows us to earn respect, to build and maintain credibility and accountability, and to grow as a network in a healthy way. Honesty is what brings and holds together a community.
  • Community: We believe in community, building and sustaining connections that value each person's contributions. Community provides a safe place for each person to have a voice, to belong, to contribute, to allow unique gifts to flourish, and to encourage involvement from each member.
  • Empowerment: We believe in empowerment, supporting each other and sharing knowledge and resources that futher recovery. Personal and Organizational empowerment strengthens us all to make choices, to find and fulfill our potential and our goals.
  • Support: We believe in support, the foundation of recovery. Support is an expression of caring, compassion, and love that plants a seed of hope. Support shows that we value all individuals, no matter that their struggles. As we support each other, we build connection and community.
  • Responsibility: We believe in personal and professional responsibility, supporting all members in claiming ownership over our individual recovery journeys. Nurturing personal responsibility shows respect for our strengths and honors each person's voice. Responsibility asks that we live each day with integrity. We take responsibility for our actions by protecting the confidentiality of members and others.
  • Opportunity: We believe in opportunity, opening doors to growth, new ideas, and choice. Opportunity creates hope by providing a path to the fulfillment of goals and dreams.

Equality invites people with all kinds of experience to share our knowledge and skills with each other, strengthening all of us.
